Thoroughly clean wall and make sure it is free of moisture. For newlypainted walls let paint "thouroughly dry" for 10 to 15 days prior to installing decals. Even if new paint seems dry, it may nevertheless need to settle and totallycure. Peel and Stick Wall Decals are not suggested on "Orange Peel" textured walls, over cinder blocks, very uneven and porous surfaces, wallpaper or fragile surfaces. Wall stickers are OK to use on tile providing the surface is thoroughly clean and completelyfree of moisture during installation. Be sure the design element does not overlap grout region as water could possiblyfilter under and damage the adhesive. Vinyl wall decals must not be placed in a dishwater or microwave and they must not be placed on rugs, fabrics and any other textiles. Textile fibers may cling to the adhesive and damage the product. Also, neverposition at the base or inside the tub. Water could seepbeneath the design element too easily and would compromise the adhesive. When applying, make sure you get started from one side (for the border) or the top (for the appliques) of each element. Keep the other parts of the element separate from the wall/surface. Gradually go straight down over the product with your hand and smooth the element onto area (and press the bubbles out as you go). Once put on you ought to be able to shift any leftover bubbles out by pressing/smoothing them out of the section.
