So how hard is it to use peel and sticks. Here are some helpful hints:

Clean wall and make sure it is dried out. For newlypainted walls let paint "thouroughly dry" for 10 to 15 days before to applying decals. Even if new paint feels dry, it may still need to settle and fullycure. Peel and Stick Wall Decals are not advised on "Orange Peel" textured walls, over cinder blocks, very textured and permeable surfaces, wallpaper or fragile surfaces. Wall stickers are OK to use on tile providing the surface is clean and completelyfree of moisture during installation. Be sure the design element does not cover grout region as water could possiblyleak under and compromise the adhesive. Apply onto shower walls, given that they are placedsnugly onto the surface so moisturecannotreach under the decal. Once placed, RoomMates should notmove even if sprayed by shower.


Vinyl wall decals should not be placed in a dishwater or microwave and they should not be positioned on rugs, fabrics and any other textiles. Textile fibers may stick to the adhesive and ruin the product. Also, neverput at the base or inside the tub. Water could seepunderneath the wall decal too easily and would compromise the adhesive. When using, make sure you begin from one side (for the border) or the top (for the appliques) of each element. Keep the other parts of the element away from the wall/surface. Slowly go down over the product with your hand and smooth the element onto surface (and press the bubbles out as you go). Once placed you should be able to move any leftover bubbles out by pressing/smoothing them out of the section. If the problempersists (this would onlyoccur with the giant decals), you can punch a very small (invisible to the eye) hole with a pin to press the air out.

In all, it is alwaysbest to check wall decals in an inconspicuous area. If the surface is textured, operation could be significantlyreduced. Make sure surface is thoroughly clean of dust and dirt or you may damage the adhesive and wreck the product.
